Soil Health First

We feed the soil, not the plant. Using compost (3–5 tons/ha) and green manure crops, we build organic matter that naturally nourishes the rice.

We use Alternate Wetting & Drying (AWD). Instead of continuous flooding, we let the soil dry periodicallyβ€”saving water and cutting methane emissions.

We rely on natural predatorsβ€”ducks, spiders, dragonfliesβ€”to control pests, rather than chemical sprays.
