Why People Love Our Black Rice
Antioxidant Powerhouse
Rich in anthocyanins — the pigments behind its deep violet color — the same powerful antioxidants found in blueberries and açaí berries.
Naturally High in Fiber
With the bran layer fully intact, every serving supports healthy digestion and keeps you satisfied longer than refined or stripped white rice.
Rich, Earthy Flavor
A bold, nutty depth with subtle sweetness — distinct enough to elevate everyday dishes into something genuinely memorable.
Grown Without Chemicals
Just clean soil, fresh water, and good farming. No synthetic fertilizers, no pesticides — ever.

How To Prepare
Rinse Thoroughly
Rinse the rice 2–3 times in cold water until the water runs mostly clear. Black rice releases natural pigment — this is normal.
Add Water
Use a 1:2.5 ratio — 1 cup rice to 2.5 cups water. Soak for 30–60 minutes beforehand for a softer, more even texture.
Simmer Gently
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 40–45 minutes until tender and the water is fully absorbed.
Rest & Serve
Remove from heat and let rest covered for 10 minutes before fluffing and serving.

Quezon City
My nutritionist recommended switching to black rice for the anthocyanin content. Agriko's is the only brand I've tried that's genuinely organic and actually tastes great — not just healthy-sounding.
Manila
The kids were skeptical at first — 'why is it purple?' — but now they actually ask for it. The nutty flavor won them over and I feel great knowing it comes from a real organic farm.
